$2.0 billion is spent annually in the United States to repair damage caused by termites. Termite damage, in most cases, may not be visible for at least 12 to 18 months beyond the initial infestation. By then, your home may be harboring approximately one million termites.

Termites can enter a building through any material directly in contact with the soil. They also enter through foundation cracks, concrete joints, gaps between water pipes and the concrete slab, bath traps, and via transportation (mud) tubes they create over or through the foundation.

There are many termite control products available today. But we at TARGET PESTS MANAGEMENT INC. believe that the TERMIDOR is the best for our customer. Termidor is made from a revolutionary new nonrepellent or "undetectable" chemical technology. In numerous trials across the United States and around the world, Termidor has consistently proven itself to be 100% effective in eradicating termites in three months or less, a level of efficacy that no other termite control system of any type has ever achieved. And, Termidor is proving to be equally effective in keeping termites from coming back. Ongoing field trials by the U.S. Department of Agriculture show no signs of reinfestation at all study sites more than nine years after treatment with Termidor - results no other termite control product can match.

Since Termidor went on the market in March 2000, Termidor Certified Professionals have treated more than 1 million U.S. homes infested with termites and been rewarded with remarkable results for their customers and their businesses.

Whenever a termite ingests or touches Termidor, it, in effect, becomes a "carrier," transferring Termidor to every other termite it comes in contact with. These termites in turn become secondary carriers, transferring Termidor to every termite they contact - and so on throughout the colony. Because Termidor is intentionally engineered to be slow-acting, termites have ample time to spread it throughout their entire population. This unique, spiraling process is called the "Transfer Effect" and it helps Termidor deliver devestating results that are unmatched by any other product, including other undetectables - 100% control in 3 moths or less.

Pest Management Professionals offer two basic types of treatment options. The first option is known as a Advance Termite Bait System. This approach involves installing termite bait stations around the perimeter of a home every 10-15 feet. The stations are then checked on a regular basis by the PMP. Upon finding termites in the stations, a bait cartridge is placed inside the station which is fed upon by termites and destroys the colony attacking the home. The second option is known as a liquid chemical barrier treatment. This involves trenching the exterior around your foundation walls and placing a liquid chemical into the ground. Depending on your situation and the product, it may also involve drilling into your front porch, garage, brick siding and other slab areas inside your home. Most homes require from 100-250 gallons of chemical to treat the home.
